A One-Day Seminar on “Rebellion Against the Islamic System” Presented to Students and Administrative Staff of the Nuristan Institute of Higher Education
Tuesday, 23rd of Ghwayi, 1404 (Solar Hijri) – May 13, 2025
A one-day seminar titled “Rebellion Against the Islamic System” was held at the Professional Development Center of the Faculty of Education for second-semester students of the Departments of History, Geography, and Pashto, as well as for administrative staff. The event was organized by the Department of Invitation and Guidance of the Nuristan Institute of Higher Education, and delivered with the cooperation of Sheikh Al-Hadith Wal-Qur’an, Sayed Ahmad Ahmadi, Chief of the Primary Court of Nuristan Province.
The seminar began, as usual, with the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an. The opening speech was delivered by Associate Professor Habib Rahim Shinwari, Deputy of Academic and Student Affairs.
In his address, Professor Shinwari encouraged the students and staff to actively participate in such seminars with genuine interest and to continue expanding their knowledge.
Following that, Sheikh Al-Hadith Wal-Qur’an Sayed Ahmad Ahmadi, Chief of the Nuristan Primary Court, delivered a comprehensive lecture on the topic of rebellion against the Islamic system. He explained that any destructive or rebellious act against the Islamic system is considered a crime and a grave sin (kabira), and that all Muslims must avoid such actions and not allow others to commit them either.
He also presented several examples of the destruction faced by those who rebelled against both current and historical Islamic systems and urged participants to support the present Islamic system, stating that this is a religious obligation for every Muslim.
At the end of the seminar, Mufti Hizbullah Nasir, a preacher from the Department of Invitation and Guidance, offered a closing prayer and expressed gratitude to the seminar presenter.
