A Seminar Was Held for Students on Techniques to Control Exam Anxiety
📅 Sunday, 8th of Saratan, 1404 (Solar Hijri)
A one-day academic seminar on strategies for reducing exam-time anxiety (stress) was organized for first-year students of both faculties at the Nuristan Institute of Higher Education. The event was facilitated by the General Directorate of Student Services and Coordination with the support of Associate Professor Mohammad Yaser Ehsas.
At the beginning of the seminar, Associate Professor Habib Rahim Shinwari, Deputy for Academic and Student Affairs, addressed the students. He emphasized that:
“Exams are merely a means to evaluate an individual's or student's abilities in a specific area, not a reason for failure. You should never be afraid during an exam.”
The seminar was held at the Professional Studies Development Center. Mr. Mohammad Yaser Ehsas, head of the Psychological Counseling Committee, provided comprehensive information to the students about anxiety and fear during examinations.
In his presentation, he explained:
-
The symptoms of exam-related anxiety
